Let me become what I am meant to be:

ENJOYMENT!
About Machali
From the native “Mapudungun” language, Machali means “the wizard corner”. This is also the name of a very old agricultural locality from Cachapoal river valley, at the east of Rancagua city, where are located the 400 years old houses and warehouses of Machali estate. My fellow vines have been cultivated there for centuries and, influenced by this tradition, Felipe and Alejandro, the descendants of the estate owner decided to revive this noble activity and created Viña Machali Ltda in 2008.
Two cousins, Jean and Jean-Pascal, that grew up in the French Bordeaux region, made me. Henri is in charge of making money out of me, meaning he is the export manager, even if he would prefer to drink me instead... Anyway, this young and fierce team is determined to shake up this haughty wine world and make the wine what it should always have been: a subject of pure and simple enjoyment.
For that matter, we need to be creative and think out of the box. This is what we tried to do in our label, and now in our way of doing marketing. We decided that what really matters is having a direct interaction with the final consumer, the guy who will pay to uncork me and hopefully live some happy moments. This all about that, about the beginning of a relation, in which both of us will share a part of its life.
The internet is the perfect platform to create this interaction and will do our best out of it to create this interaction between you and Machali's people.

Now just to say we know how to be formal, here are some data about the winery:

Vineyard superficy: 50 ha
Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Age of the vines: 15 years
Region: Rappel Valley Subregion: Cachapoal (see map)

From light to darkness
You should know what I had to pass through before arriving in your dinning table. I used to be free indeed, sunbathing, untill they picked me... After 1 month in a cold tank, I had to stay another 12 months in a barrel. This may sound normal, but just try to picture yourself fighting for your soul while the oak surrounds you. This is where Jean helps me out not to be overwhelmed and to actually win this fight.
I ended up in a bottle, and had to wait another couple of months (at least) to arrive in the stove where you found me. Then maybe you will put me in your cellar and I may have to wait again for months or years.

This is why the cork poping sound is so rhapsodic, this is why I need to express myself with so much intensity in your glass.
Where can you find me?
